The recent call by Northern youths for the evacuation of all igbos from the North has sparked debate on the level of inequality in Nigeria. There is no doubt that tribalism remains a big problem in this country. Someone from a particular tribe would rather favour his kinsmen than one from another tribe. This brings forth the question: is the separation of Nigeria a solution to our problems?

Would it be much more preferable if the Igbos are given their Biafra and the children of Oduduwa given their Yoruba land?

Restructuring is what we need right now.

These agitations are good IMO. It brings the opportunity for discussions about the country's core issues.

No more burying our heads in the sand and accepting this failed system. Whether it be restructuring or implementation of the 2014 confab report, the most important thing is that discussions are ongoing because people are clamouring for a real change in the system.

The country might not seperate in the end if the government does what should be done to ensure that every region in Nigeria is treated fairly and given equal opportunities to succeed.

Yes, you are right but this government is not practicing democracy like the immediate one. We need a government that will listen to the voice of majority. No matter how good your opinion is, you gat to accept the wishes of the majority.
