The recent call by Northern youths for the evacuation of all igbos from the North has sparked debate on the level of inequality in Nigeria. There is no doubt that tribalism remains a big problem in this country. Someone from a particular tribe would rather favour his kinsmen than one from another tribe. This brings forth the question: is the separation of Nigeria a solution to our problems? Would it be much more preferable if the Igbos are given their Biafra and the children of Oduduwa given their Yoruba land?
